Inventory JerseyTags imprinted with the herd management number and unique national ID number for lifetime identification in the U.S. dairy records system will get you started.

Custom JerseyTags are then ordered after the animal registration process is complete. Design the tag with the information you use most, such as:

  • Calf date of birth (choice of mm/dd/yy or mm/yy format)
  • Calf name or number
  • Sire's short name or NAAB code number
  • Dam ID number or name
  • Dam date of birth
  • Farm name
  • Primary Prefix
  • Custom Text, up to 12 characters and spaces for large tags and 15 for Maxi tags.

JerseyTags can be ordered in a variety of sizes, customizations, front/back combinations and colors to fit the needs of your dairy operation.

Tags are best used as a inventory tool or customized after animal registration for constant easy to read identification.

Maxi tags (3” W x 4” H) can be paired with a RFID, button, or large tag. Similarily, Large tags (2.25” W x 3” H) can be paired with a RFID, button, or another large tag.

RFID and button tags act as permanent ID which display both the national ID number and herd management number.

An inventory bundle will supply you with a Large front tag, choice of button back, RFID 840 tag, and a Tissue Sampling Unit (TSU) for genotyping and BVD-PI testing.
